Since 1989, PC Professor has offered a variety of IT training classes, technical courses and application software seminars to meet the needs of the growing IT job market. Thousands of students have gained skills and knowledge in dozens of subject areas involving both software and hardware through the IT training classes conducted at our West Palm Beach and Boca Raton Florida locations. Our staff regularly communicates with employers, headhunters and technical recruiters in the IT industry to be able to teach the necessary skills needed in today’s frenzied IT job market.

No matter what aspect of IT technology you want to learn, the chances are good that PC Professor may offer an educational solution by way of a variety of IT training classes. Our mission is to provide high quality, hands-on computer training in a professional, friendly, and comfortable learning environment. Our hands-on IT training career classes are designed to be small, interactive and to meet vocational objectives so that graduates may quickly enter the workplace or gain advancement in their current jobs. It is the goal of our school to anticipate the technical and occupational skills needed for the future and to plan our IT Training classes and course programs to meet those demands. As such, we continuously offer IT training classes and computer courses on a repeating, wheel-like schedule to suit a variety of demanding student schedules.

IT training and hands-on computer classes can be structured to address the varying needs of individuals and businesses and is designed to meet the needs of today’s IT and computer professionals. All computer career classes and courses offered at PC Professor include unlimited phone support, unlimited refresher courses, and unlimited lab time. Knowledgeable teachers are available to assist you, even after the class is over. Training sessions are offered during daytime, evening and weekend hours. Included in the variety of IT training classes and computer classes programs are short continuing education workshops as well as longer vocational career classes.

Each of our IT computer classes include a Three Point Guarantee:

(1) All of our IT training classes include complimentary audit/refresher courses. If you are not 100% comfortable with the covered material at the end of the course, you are welcome to repeat the class as our guest — at no additional tuition charge. Please note: a registration fee and book/lab fees, if applicable, may apply.

(2) All classes include free unlimited telephone support. If, at any time, after your instruction you encounter some difficulties with a studied topic, our teaching faculty, technical staff and/or program administrators will be happy to answer your questions — at no additional charge.

(3) All workshops include the use of our computers and labs. If, at any time after your course, you want to practice your new skills but don’t have a computer or access to that particular software program, you are welcome to use our learning machines — at no additional charge.

Private tutoring packages are also available upon request for any of the IT training classes offered at PC Professor. Sessions can usually be scheduled at your time and convenience, either at your location, our location or via remote with a live instructor.

Moreover, student tuition financing may be available for those who qualify. We will do our best to make financing a quality education comfortable for you. Also PC Professor works with various agencies to arrange tuition grants and scholarships to those who may qualify.

Our post-secondary school is an approved onsite PearsonVue Testing Center for obtaining nationwide and worldwide certifications. Certification exams and tests can typically be scheduled at our campus directly through any of the IT certification exam companies with which we partner. This may include Pearson Vue, Prometric, Certiport, Kryterion, Pan, Mensa and more.

Sample application software class course descriptions are listed below:

MICROSOFT WINDOWS – This exciting course is where your computer training begins. Windows is the foundation. Beginning with mouse skills, no prior computer knowledge or typing skills are required. You will learn the operating system and how the computer can work to improve your efficiency.

WORD – Knowing WORD has become a basic requirement for most jobs that involve typing. Learn to create letters and documents, mail merges, adjust columns and create macros.

EXCEL – When it comes to anything that involves numbers like budgets, forecast profit & loss statements, job costing or calculations you will find a spreadsheet useful and helpful. The standard in spreadsheets in business today is EXCEL. This course covers entry level topics to those new to the subject while the advanced level of the class goes into further complex subjects such as vlook-up, reporting and pivot tables.

OUTLOOK – This is a Contact Management Database program for all-in-one organization and planning. This course teaches how to keep track of your Calendar, Contact and Things-To-Do in and organized way for both office and personal use.

ACCESS – This database (electronic filing) program is the most used database in business today. Storing and retrieving data is essential in almost any office or business. You’ll learn all about fields, filing, indexing, quarries, tables and building your own reports.

QUICKBOOKS – We can help with all your computerized bookkeeping needs. QuickBooks is usually considered to be the most popular bookkeeping program for smaller businesses. This course is a must for any person in management or planning on working with a company’s financials. Classes are usually available in both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP – This is the perfect class for the artistically inclined. You’ll learn how to use text, Clip Art, photos, borders and color to create brochures, newsletters, posters and anything else you can imagine.

Sample technical course descriptions are listed below. Please note that classes are preparatory in nature and do not include the vendor’s certification exam, which must be obtained separately, and at separate expense, at an authorized testing center upon completion of the PC Professor class.

COMPUTER REPAIR (A+ / N+) – Our computer repair is South Florida’s finest and employers have historically sought out our students because of the great hands-on training they typically receive. Learn about computer hardware operating systems, and prepare for CompTIA’s A+ certification exam. Topics include desktop repair, laptop repair, Apple repair and wireless security.

N+ introduces networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, wireless solutions and understanding network protocols and security.

Cloud & Computer Systems Professional – Become a Certified IT Professional! Design, administer and implement secure networks worldwide. PC Professor is an exclusive Microsoft Imagine Academy Training Center with instructors offering patience, personality and real life experience.

Full Stack Web Developer – Do you have a logical mind? If so, our programming course may be of interest. Taught by an industry professional, we carefully guide you with real world examples to make sure you understand a new and complex programming language. Previous programming knowledge is required for admission to this challenging program.

Database Professional – Perfect for any database administrator or anyone looking to make it in the database field. This SQL course includes both the Administration of SQL and the Programming aspect as well. Topics covered include relational database architecture, data analytics, as well as SQL database design techniques for simple to complex queries.

Wired and Wireless Network Systems Professional – PC Professor’s customized Cisco Certified Network Associate course is the crème de la crème for prospective network engineers. The class covers installation as well as troubleshooting routers and switches. This course covers Linux and Firewall security too. Virtualization (VMWare) – With hands-on classes beginning regularly in computer virtualization, PC Professor is the place to go to sharpen skills in designing, managing and installing VMware vSphere environments.
