- Description
- It has been almost thirty-one years since I first touched an Apple II computer to learn how to do line programming at the age of seven. Since then, I have been exposed to computers consistently either for productivity or gaming. Regardless, both need repairs & servicing eventually. In all of my careers, I found myself somehow doing the servicing for all of the local computers. I have been self employed as a local computer/gaming console repair & servicing entrepreneur through local communities. I have even built servers from scratch for companies (Complex Plastics, Canada). While in employment for the Department of Defense, I was able to access incredible computing platforms and even consult their IT professionals on setting up remote offices. All while I was NOT doing IT work.
- Skills
- I am fluent in all Microsoft operating systems including Server 2008, Office 2007, IE9, Adobe CS5, and almost all hardware configurations (including Top-Secret DoD machines). I have yet to see a program that stumps me. Attending Florida Atlantic University exposed me to one of the great computer geniuses of all time. He told me his secret, Logic Based Computing Processes. Since all the computers are manmade, there is a relative process they all follow. This process is only noticeable to experienced IT pros and some of your intermediates. It has been my guiding principle ever since. My other qualifications include a strong work ethic (too strong) & a sense of team accomplishment, whatever the task.
