In Jacob’s Shoes Scholarship For Disadvantaged Youth

The Jacob S. Zweig Foundation, Inc. was formed in honor of the life of Jacob S. Zweig who was tragically killed at the age of seventeen on November 15, 2008. In his short life, Jacob touched and inspired so many people. His friendships spanned the globe. The Foundation, known as In Jacob’s Shoes, honors the love and encouragement Jacob gave to all who knew him and will strive to continue Jacob’s way of making a difference in the lives of others. His smile, his hugs and his huge heart will never be forgotten. The organization continues to encourage others to live by Jacob’s mantra “Ask not for lesser burdens, but for broader shoulders.”

The mission of In Jacob’s Shoes is to provide new and gently used shoes, school supplies and athletic shoes and equipment to economically disadvantaged youth.  Scholarships are also awarded to children and teens for camp, athletic, education, travel, after school care, extra-curricular programs and to computer career schools such as PC Professor, a Microsoft IT Academy with campuses in Boca Raton, Florida and West Palm Beach, Florida.

PC Professor is a proud supporter of the In Jacob’s Shoes non-profit organization and is honored to work closely with them in their mission to assist economically disadvantaged youths in need of vocational skills training in the computer industry.  To apply for the Jacob S. Zweig Academic Computer Career Scholarship at PC Professor, contact In Jacob’s Shoes for an application.
